Williams Family Scholarships

Williams Family Scholarships are merit scholarships for highly qualified students entering Grades 9 or 10 and are awarded to students not currently enrolled at Trinity School. Applications and all accompanying materials are due March 1 for the school year beginning the following August.

Jane and Ken Williams made an unmistakable difference in the life of Trinity School. The Williams’ generosity continues to support Trinity School in countless ways. Their generous spirit is a gift in itself, and their legacy will have a lasting impact on Trinity School for many years to come.  

In their honor, Williams Family Scholarships have been established and are given to students entering Grades 9 or 10 who are not currently enrolled at Trinity School. These merit scholarships are awarded to students who portray outstanding character, intellect, leadership, and commitment to service.

Criteria

The Williams Family Scholars Selection Committee is looking for applicants of outstanding character, intellect, leadership, and commitment to service.

A Williams Family Scholar will demonstrate:
  • High character, including honesty, kindness, and unselfish care for others;
  • A desire to grow in faith, hope, love, humility, mercy, and justice;
  • Outstanding scholarship based on a motivation to learn rather than simply make good grades;
  • A commitment to using his or her God-given talents;
  • An interest in activities and experiences outside of the classroom;
  • Dedication to serving the wider community; and
  • Leadership and service;
The Selection Committee will have these traits and criteria in mind as it reviews applications, reads applicant essays, and interviews finalists.
