Upper School Update - Upcoming STUCO Initiatives

B. Faris
As the Director of Student Life at Trinity School, I have the unique privilege of having a great deal of fun with students, including being the sponsor of the Upper School Student Council.  So far, the Student Council has proven to be full of energy and great ideas. They take on the responsibility of being the voice of the student body, organizing fundraisers and events, and coordinating with leadership to represent students.  While this is fun, the students do a great deal of work to create social and other opportunities for their peers and the school.  I am excited about the plans they have in store for the 2022-2023 school year.

Schoolwide Shirt Fundraiser
This talented group has designed a great schoolwide shirt, which was offered during the first two weeks of school, and will be delivered in the coming weeks.  Thank you so much for your support, as these orders fund many activities throughout the year.  We are awaiting our shipment from our supplier and those shirts will go out to student classrooms as soon as they come in.  Shortly after, we will be preparing for Fall weather and offering a long sleeve version of the shirt, as well as another color in the sweatshirt.  Keep your eyes on the Charger for this information.

Homecoming 2022: Trinity Time-Warp
Student Council has also planned a fun and original week of events for Homecoming 2022.
Start planning now for the following theme days:
Jurassic Monday: Take it all the way back to the dinosaur days by dressing in your best dinosaur or Jurassic attire.
Toga Tuesday: Wear a toga or your Greek or Roman Inspired attire.
Western Wednesday: Dress in your favorite Gold Rush and Wild West Attire.  Students not participating in the dress up day are required to wear standard Wednesday attire.
Throwback Thursday: Wear something that takes you back in time or wear a school appropriate Halloween costume.  (Division Halloween celebrations are scheduled for this day)
Charger Spirit Friday:  Show your Charger spirit by wearing our school colors.  Dress all out in blue, black and white.
Saturday: Into the Future to the Galaxy & Beyond.  Upper School Students are invited to the Homecoming Dance at the Trinity School Atrium.  More information to follow.
