Shannon holds a B. A. in English from Texas A&M University and a Masters of Divinity from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. She has been ordained in the Presbyterian Church (USA) since 2005. She grew up in Dallas and came to Midland in March of 2005 to serve as Associate Pastor of Christian Nurture at First Presbyterian Church where she served until May 2016. After a couple of years at home with her children, she was delighted to join the Trinity community as a chaplain in the fall of 2018. She is married to Gerry, an attorney at Cotton, Bledsoe, Tighe & Dawson and they have three children.
