Dear Trinity Family,
I hope this letter finds you well and enjoying a summer full of family, friends, and your favorite activities! It’s hard to believe we are already planning for the upcoming school year, however the first day of school will be here before we know it.
I am writing to you today on behalf of the Trinity Charger Alliance (TCA). The TCA is Trinity School’s parent organization that supports the entire student body through the three branches of Academics, Athletics and Arts. The organization’s mission is to cultivate a strong school community, to enhance the student experience, and to aid faculty and staff through fundraising, volunteer efforts, and special events. As a member of the Trinity community, you are automatically a member of the TCA!
For information on upcoming TCA events and links to the spirit store, gala website, and volunteer opportunities throughout the school year, please log in to your myTrinity account and locate the TCA resource box. We will also post event reminders and volunteer opportunities in the school’s weekly newsletter, The Charger, on the
TCA’s Sign-Up Genius website, and on social media pages on
Instagram and
Facebook.
This past year was certainly a year of “Big & Bright.” Our parent volunteers continued the TCA’s long tradition of bringing our Trinity community together in impactful ways, including hosting Fall Festival, Homecoming celebrations, the Trinity Gala: Big & Bright, and Jam the Gym. Our volunteers also reached out to community members in need through Charger Care, coordinated teacher appreciation treats, organized the most successful Scholastic Book Fair and Donuts with Dudes events to date, planned school socials, promoted the Upper School musical - Newsies, and increased our social media presence. It is because our community volunteered that we were able to make each of these TCA events successful.
Please save the date for our annual fundraiser! The 2025 Gala, “An Evening in: The Golden Age of Hollywood,” will take place on January 25th at the Petroleum Club. Join us on the red carpet for an elegant evening in black and white, dinner, dancing to the Manhattan Band, live and silent auctions, “Trinity Traditions,” and the tuition raffle. This is the TCA’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and I hope you will make plans to attend! As a result of your overwhelming generosity at our Big & Bright Gala event, the TCA was able to fulfill every Trinity School teacher, faculty, and administrator grant request in an aggregate amount of over $285,000. Your support also helped Trinity raise enough money to purchase a new scoreboard for Coombes Field and remodel the playground and concession stand.
The TCA continues to offer fun, fresh, and new spirit wear through the Charger Spirit Store. Now through July 15th, you can pre-order MS and US gym shirts, Varsity Trinity T’s, youth cheerleading uniforms, and football jerseys online at
Chargerspiritstore.com. Additionally, we will host a larger pre-order online at
Chargerspiritstore.com from July 1st –July 31st. Don’t miss out - these t-shirts, sweatshirts, 1/4 zip shirts, and hats will only be available in all sizes during the pre-order. Order early to guarantee your size and show your Charger spirit.
This fall, the TCA will open a newly renovated Football Concessions Stand as well as expand our concessions offerings. Watch our
Instagram and
Facebook feeds for photos of the newly remodeled space. We look forward to seeing you at the football games!
The first TCA General Meeting of the school year will be held on September 5th at 8:15 am – please plan to attend! This will be a great opportunity to learn more about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities and catch up with friends, old and new. Please contact me or any of the TCA Executive Board members with any questions or ideas.
Sincerely,
