Community & Belonging have requested that we all WEAR RED on this designated Friday. Students will be learning about living with DYSLEXIA. This is just part of a month long focus about many atypical learning styles, physical disabilities, and other perceived limitations that people live with in our community.
Go Red For Dyslexia is a global campaign supported by Succeed With Dyslexia all about changing the narrative for people living with dyslexia and low literacy. We want to end the stigma and shout from the rooftops about all the amazing things people with this learning difference can do.
TCA will host a play date at Opportunity Park in conjunction with Conference Day. They have reserved the Gazebo at Opportunity Park, 5700 Briarwood Avenue (adjacent to Bush Tennis Center), from 11am-1pm and plan to serve Dominos Pizza.
This day has been set aside to take individual photographs of students in Kindergarten thru Grade 12. We request that students wear their designated Wednesday attire and bring their toothiest smile. This composite photograph is used by our Yearbook staff. Retakes will be Wednesday, November 13.
